Excellent restaurant and all round facilities. A hotel based on traditional decor and facilities.
Shower head in my single room was blocked and didn't perfom too well.

We had a good stay at Alt Vellern. The breakfast was a generous spread of fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, and delicious jams. The family room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a modern yet traditional style. The highlight was the dinner at the hotel restaurant, which served one of the most delicious meals we had during our trip. The portions were generous, the ingredients were of high quality, and the traditional German decor added to the charm of the dining area. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even allowing my daughter to play the piano in the entrance. The hotel's quiet location and free parking were also a plus. We were pleased with our experience and found it to be great value overall.
One drawback was the confusion with the bed for our child. We had specifically mentioned that we didn't need an extra bed, but it was still provided and we were charged for it when we checked out.

Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous spread of fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, and high-quality delicatessen. the hotel also offered alfresco dining options, allowing guests to enjoy the lovely surroundings. it was an exceptional value for a truly memorable experience.
The shower stall in the room was quite small, which was the only drawback during my otherwise wonderful stay.
